MEET OUR LEADERS

I have been serving as the Pastor of Wyoming Avenue Christian Church since November 2011. I have a bachelors degree in biblical studies from Baptist Bible College (now Clarks Summit University) where I majored in Pastoral Ministries and minored in Youth Ministries. I now work full time as a Hospice Chaplain and faithfully serve at WACC!

I am extremely passionate about discipleship and evangelism. I have had the honor and privilege of traveling and speaking in different parts of the USA and to other parts of the world. I have been blessed with many great ministry opportunities that have helped shape who I am today. Between founding Love Life Ministries, riding for Wisdom Skateboards, and many other ministry experiences, I am excited to take all I have learned over the years and work side by side with this church to make more of an impact on our community (locally & globally).

If you are from the Wyoming Valley there is a good chance you know Brenda! In addition to being our music director, organist, and secretary; Brenda serves in several other churches. Brenda is also often involved with various musical productions throughout the valley. You will find Brenda tickling the ivories on our sanctuary piano every Sunday, and sometimes she will be masterfully playing our exquisitely sounding organ. If you are interested in performing special music during worship, Brenda would love to work with you to make it happen!

Outreach to our community is a big focus for WACC. Led by Tori, events are organized throughout the year. Some events include coffeehouse nights with live music, trunk or treats, and more. Additionally, Tori founded Cafe Cusco in our lower level. Check it out before worship service and enjoy one of the custom beverages that Barista Tori has come up with.

Responsible for both our children’s ministry and Christian education initiatives, Caitlyn has a passion for helping others learn about Jesus Christ. She coordinates our classroom staffing, develops curriculum, and provides engaging content to educate the children in our church.

Our church is a proud supporter of missions in our local area and around the world. Tammy has a passion for helping others and constantly stays in contact with the missionaries we support to ensure their needs are met. Under Tammy’s direction we have grown our giving to missions supporting medical needs, clean drinking water, and much more.
